Dani Strong


Dani Strong is a singer/songwriter with an unparalleled stage presence. Her debut album, Time To Breathe has already hit #1 on the country charts and #2 over all genres at iTunes! Dani is blazing her trail as an independent artist in both Canada and south of the border as well.

Not only is Dani a remarkable songwriter, but she is also a captivating performer with incredible depth and charm.  Dani’s story is one of dedication, heart, loss and triumph.  It has not been a short and paved road to where she is now.  She has learned, first hand, what it means to “pay your dues” and earn the respect of seasoned musicians, industry representatives and music fans alike. Dani’s story is unique and her talent as a songwriter and performer is undeniably exceptional.


  • Dani started writing as a teenager on her farm in interior British Columbia.
  • Dani moved Toronto to attend York University for Jazz. (Trombone)     Started teaching guitar and vocals at a music store just north of Toronto
  • Dani went on tour hauling gear and selling merch for Canadian rock bands to learn the ropes!


  • Reached #1 on the iTunes Country Chart and #2 on the iTunes All Genres Chart.
  • Wrote the 2016 “Own The Weekend” campaign theme song for Coleman USA’s national advertising.
  • Named as Spotlight Artist of the Week (Nov 4/16)  for new American TV show “The Song”  “In the day of singles and downloads, “Time To Breathe” is a throwback to an era where every track had to be good. There are several remarkable songs, on the record, but check out “Stronger Now”, “What You Need”, “Wild One” and if you just want to have fun “Hey You”.
  • Won episode 2 of Florida talent show ‘Do I Have a Hit Song’.
  • Auditioned and successfully made it as the only Canadian to make top 50 for American TV show Nashville Star (2006 season).
  • Opened for The Eli Young Band, Emerson Drive, Jason McCoy, Tebey, Jess Moskaluke, Jimmy Rankin, The Lovelocks and more.
  • Nominated for Best Country at the Toronto Independent Music Awards, Oct. 2015
  • Semi-finalist in the International Song Writing Competition 2 years in a row (2013/2014)
